Question about your bill
How can I pay my bill?
Payments are currently received by mail, over the phone and in person at our office. Patients may pay by check, cash, or credit/debit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard payments.
What billing or insurance information will I receive?
Once you have been seen by one of our physicians, we will submit the charge to your insurance company. The insurance company will then process the billed charge and submit payment to your provider. You should also receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company.
Why am I getting bills from physicians?
For patients who were seen by one of our physicians at an inpatient facility, you will be billed separately for physician services. This is separate from the charges submitted by the hospital, nursing facility, assistive living facility. Depending on the insurance plan, patients may be responsible for deductibles, co-pays and/or remaining balances. This varies for every insurance carrier.
I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill, but I can’t understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?
Please contact your insurance company for clarification regarding your bill/EOB. Our billing department will be more than happy to answer any questions that they can; however, the insurance company would be the best resource for explanation on insurance payments.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your account, please feel free to call our billing department at (210) 615-2225.
